ANKARA
Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned people involved in anti-state activities they will be brought to justice in the near future - regardless of any consequences to international relations.
Addressing a huge rally in Bursa as a part of his campaign for local election on 30 March, Erdogan said, "There are people who are upset with Turkey's stand for the oppressed people throughout the world. Turkey will continue to be with the people of Syria, Egypt and elsewhere in the world.”
Erdogan said, “The ones who are not happy with Turkey's economic accomplishments and developing democracy are attacking us from inside and outside of Turkey.”
Stating that no one will be permitted to act as a state within a state, Erdogan said that such elements would be cleaned up within the country.
