ISTANBUL
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that there must be a transitional government without Bashar al-Assad in Syria.
Premier Erdogan arrived in Istanbul after visiting Russia on Wednesday.
Speaking to reporters at the airport, Erdogan said that Geneva international conference was important, because the conference agreed on a transitional government without Assad. Ruling and opposition parties as well as neutrals should participate in the transitional government, he said, adding that Russia had a positive view on it during his talks in Russia.
Replying to a question regarding Syria's statements holding responsible Turkey for the suicide bombing in Damascus, Erdogan said that no one could say that Turkey took such a step.
