Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Anadolu Agency would play a significant role in making the voice of Turkey heard in the international arena as a global actor developing rapidly.
Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan and several Ministers of Turkey released messages on Friday in regards to Anadolu Agency (AA) celebrating its 93rd anniversary of foundation which will be celebrated Saturday.
Erdogan said, "Anadolu Agency, established by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk 93 years ago, has become the voice of Turkey at a time Turkey's destiny was being determined" in his message and added, "Anadolu Agency is among the institutions that gained the trust of our society with its fast and impartial reporting. I believe, Anadolu Agency will play a significant role in making the voice of Turkey heard in the international arena as a global actor developing rapidly. I celebrate the establishment anniversary of Anadolu Agency and I wish success to the valuable journalists of Anadolu Agency."
Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc sent a message in the scope of celebrating the AA's 93rd anniversary to Anadolu Agency's Board Chairman & Director General Kemal Ozturk and noted, especially with its improvements in the past few years, the Anadolu Agency was taken as a model news agency, it was noted successful globally and it was the pride of Turkey.
Turkey's Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag celebrated the agency's 93rd anniversary and reminded that the AA is an institution older than the republic of Turkey.
Bozdag added, he finds AA successful as it has opened several offices around the world and started to broadcast in five languages.
Turkish Minister of Family and Social Policies Fatma Sahin, Minister of Environment and Urbanization Erdogan Bayraktar, Minister of Foresty and Water Works Veysel Eroglu, Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan, Minister of Development Cevdet Yilmaz, Minister of Labour and Social Security Faruk Celik, Minister of National Education Nabi Avci, Health Minister Mehmet Muezzingolu, Minister of Justice Sadullah Ergin also sent messages praising Anadolu Agency's performance and role of reporting.
Chairman of Hak-Is Labor Confederation Mahmut Arslan, Secretary General of World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) Huseyin Erkan also sent messages praising Anadolu Agency at the 93rd anniversary.

Turkey's ambassadors on duty abroad celebrated the 93rd anniversary of the establishment of Anadolu Agency (AA) on Friday.
Turkey's Ambassador in Berlin Huseyin Avni Karslioglu stated that Turkish war of independence came to minds when Anadolu Agency was mentioned. Karslioglu praised the technological advancements of Anadolu Agency and celebrated Anadolu Agency on its 93rd anniversary for delivering news to and from all corners of the world.
Turkey's Ambassador in Paris Tahsin Burcuoglu expressed his belief in Anadolu Agency to be placed among the leading five agencies in the world and celebrated its 93rd anniversary of establishment.
Turkish Ambassador in London Unal Cevikoz congratulated the AA and its member of staff for its 93rd anniversary and has said, with its recent works, the Anadolu Agency became a global news agency. "With increasing its multilingual broadcasting and starting off its "European Bulletin" it has bacame a global news agency."
Turkey's Ambassador in The Hague, Ugur Dogan stated that the AA became a brand in its own field.
Turkey's Podgorica Ambassador Mehmet Niyazi Tanilir reminded that Turkey's one of the rooted institution, the AA was set up in order to make world aware of Turkish national struggle and served important news so far. "As we were used to seeing AFP or Reuters as sources, it is surprising to see the AA as a source in Balkans media," stated Ambassador Tanilir.
Turkish Ambassador in Athens, Kerim Uras and Turkey's Lefkosa Ambassador Halil Ibrahim Akca has congratulated the agency for its 93rd anniversary. Uras said, "The agency is making a breakthrough, like all over Turkey. I believe that AA will be successfull."
