Ankara (AA) - Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag said on Monday that "those unable to tolerate Turkish nation's will must know that the nation's will has now full sovereignty. The era of seeking solutions through illegal means is over now."
Regarding Taksim Gezi Park protests, Turkish Deputy PM Bozdag warned Turkish people on his Twitter account not to be dragged into incidents without having enough information.
Bozdag gave a message to the groups staging unpermitted demonstrations and clashing with the police to create chaos, and said, "those unable to tolerate Turkish nation's will must know that the nation's will has now full sovereignty. The era of seeking solutions through illegal means is over now."
Also commenting on the incidents, Turkish Customs and Trade Minister Hayati Yazici said, "it never complies with democracy to claim rights by burning, destroying or vandalizing."
"Burning, destroying or vandalizing is not a right but a crime. It is civil servants' duty to maintain peace and order," noted Yazici.
Yazici stressed that the protestors would surely understand that the incidents would not consequently help the country, and see who would benefit from the incidents if they calmed down and thought.
