Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu held a phone conversation with US Secretary of State John Kerry over the latest developments in the region, diplomatic sources said on Monday.
The two top diplomats covered a variety of issues as Syrian regime's attacks on Aleppo and preparations for Geneva-II peace conference.
Davutoglu and Kerry also discussed the Arab-Israeli conflict ahead of Kerry's visit to the region as well as the increasing violence in Iraq in recent days.
Cyprus issue and solution negotiations between the sides in the island were also on the agenda of the phone talk.
