Turkey's current accounts deficit was down to 48.8 billion USD in 2012 when compared to 2011.
The Central Bank of Turkey on Wednesday made public Turkey's current accounts deficit figures between January and December 2012 when compared to the same term 2011.
According to the results, the bank said the current accounts deficit was down 28.3 billion USD to 48.8 billion USD in 2012 compared to the year of 2011.
Under services account, in 2012, the tourism revenues rose to 23.4 billion USD and the tourism expenditures dropped to 4.05 billion USD compared to 2011.
