WASHINGTON
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been discharged from New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
Clinton's spokesperson Philippe Reines said that after being treated for a blood clot near her brain she was discharged on Wednesday.
Reines quoted Clinton's doctors and said that in all aspects of her recovery, she was making excellent progress and that her doctors were confident she would make a full recovery.
Reines also added that Clinton was eager to get back to work.
Clinton had a blood clot due to the concussion of the brain and was receiving a anti-coagulant treatment at hospital.
