HATAY
Turkish Red Crescent Aid Society (Kizilay) on Friday sent potatoes, flour, dry food and lunch boxes to the Syrian cities of Latakia and Idlib, both of which are close to the Turkish border.
Kizilay's aid materials were sent as part of the "Bread&Blanket" campaign for Syria.
Kizilay sent a total of 10 tonnes of potatoes, 4 tonnes of flour, lunch boxes for 3,750 people and 3 tonnes of dry food.
The aid materials were distributed to Syrian nationals living in tents in Latakia and Idlib.
