IDLIB
"We Are Here For You", an association established in the town of Azmarin, Idlib which is taken over by the opposition forces in Syria, has been formed to distribute the relief packages sent from Turkey.
Following the intense fight with the Assad forces, the Free Syrian Army took control of the town and residents started to return to their homes.
"We Are Here For You" established by 12 Syrians is operating to relieve the pain of the people by distributing aid.
The association's president, Halid Memet Basar, stated that the foundation was formed about a month ago and it distributed provisions such as foodstuffs, blankets and medicine to the ones in need. He said that there were approximately five thousand people living in the town including the 330 refugees and the aid packages were low in numbers compared to the number of people in need.
A Syrian, who just received his aid package, stated that they were in real need of help and grateful to Turkish people for their support.
