ANKARA
Anadolu Agency has begun publishing a selection of photos portraying events which made an impression on the year 2013.
Many of the 78 frames AA has provided to its subscribers within the "News" category depict memorable scenes in Turkey, Egypt, Syria, Libya, Philippines, Thailand and the US.
The agency plans to publish another selection of 75 photos labeled under the "Life" category.
The first selection has been published through AA's News Transmission System (HAS) in Turkish, English and Arabic.
AA has been enhancing its international visibility with its coverage of events in the Middle East region and around the globe. It has recently signed several distribution and cooperation agreements with major photo agencies, such as AFP's Image Forum and Getty Images, thus broadening the international reach of its photo content.
