HATAY (AA) - An ammunition blast on Tuesday killed six people in Syria near its border with Turkey.
A young Turkish citizen and five Syrians were killed when ammunition in scrap metal collection exploded.
The explosion took place while a group of smugglers were praparing to carry scrap pieces from Syria into Turkey near Hacipasa town close to Turkish-Syrian border.
Security measures along the border have been increased and an investigation is under way.
