(AA) - Anadolu Agency (AA) Russian News Service entered a new term with passing to subscription system. Aiming to become one of five most affective news agencies of the world, AA started the subscription process for Russian, one of six languages AA broadcast in. With the new subscription period, it strenghtened the position of providing important content for the region.
AA, which aims to broadcast in 11 languages to become one of the first five international agencies of the world within the framework of new vision of the world in its 100th year, had started to publish news respectively in English, Arabic, BCS (Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian) and Russian.
AA will start to broadcast in Kurdish also on September 1, 2013 and will increase its broadcasting languages into 6 in total. Besides increasing the number of languages in broadcasting, AA also aims to reach more subscribers in several countries. As part of it, AA enters a new period in Russian news broadcasting.
For a while, the Russian news were published in limited test broadcasting on Russian website, but the Russian news, photos and videos will reach the subscribers rapidly via the advanced software programme News Streaming System (HAS) of AA. HAS creates the opportunity for subscribers to get the news, photo and video contents integrated with each other.
Reaching AA's Russian news, produced 50 per day, requires subscription. To subscribe for the news, the form on AA's http://www.aa.com.tr/ru/aa-services/211350 website should be filled in.
AA, within the framework of new vision of the world in its 100th year, continues speedily to its technological investments. One of the conditions of New Generation Journalists requires mobility. As part of it, the newly distributed macbook laptops will be the most helping assistants in offices in the working field, on journey and both domestic and abroad, wherever news exist. Machintosh laptops are started to be used in AA to transmit the news and to provide a healthy and uninterrupted communication substructure. Bought with that aim, 170 MacBook Air and MacBook Pro laptops have already been distributed. At the same time, the needed programmes to be used in the working fields by our correspondents, were downloaded to the laptops.
In line with the demands and needs, the General Directorate distributed the laptops to the photo journalists, correspondents and cameramen both in Turkey and abroad.
