Speaking to Arabic News Service at AA's Cairo headquarters, Ozturk said Morsi closely followed AA's broadcast and specifically the operations of the Cairo office.
Ozturk said he gave detailed information to the Egyptian president about the AA, adding that Morsi had pledged full support to the agency.
Ozturk said he briefed also the Egyptian prime minister, Hisham Kandil, about the AA, adding that Kandil also followed AA's news closely.
