3-cushion billiards junior championship ends in Turkey

IZMIR, Turkey 

The 3-Cushion Billiards World Junior Championship ended on Sunday in Turkey’s Aegean city of Izmir with South Korean Myung Woo Cho emerging as the tournament's winner.

Sixteen athletes from across the world took part in the competition, which began at the Billiards Hall of Izmir’s Ataturk Stadium on Friday.

Myung Woo Cho bested his South Korean opponent Daehyeon Jong in the final competition.

Alessio D'Agata from Italy and Carlos Anguita from Spain shared the tournament's third place honors.

Alperen Emin Cebeoglu and Arda Gungor represented Turkey in the global tournament.
