Turkish President Abdullah Gul hosted 25 of his counterparts from all corners of the world at the Cankaya Presidential Palace in 2012.
President Gul travelled to six countries in 2012, including the United States, Tunisia and the Netherlands.
President Abdullah Gul had to cancel his trips overseas after September due to an ear problem.
Gul visited 14 Turkish provinces throughout the year.
During his visits, Gul wanted officials or residents of a province to plant a tree or provide scholarships to students instead of giving him a gift.
