Ankara (AA) - A total of 120 people were taken into custody across Turkey during Taksim Gezi Park protests which have been continuing for over a week.
Security Department stated on Wednesday that police detained 60 in Istanbul, 24 in Izmir, 20 in Ankara and 16 in Mersin.
The department noted that it released such a statement because of the news claiming that "a large number of demonstrators have still been in custody".
