ANKARA 

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said late Thursday his two-day visit to Pakistan had refreshed the friendship between the two countries.

Erdogan tweeted he was thankful for the hospitality of the Pakistani people and authorities.

"My visit to Pakistan has strengthened the strong brotherhood bonding between Turkey and Pakistan," Erdogan said.

Having left Pakistan, Erdogan has arrived in the Uzbek city of Samarkand for another official visit.

The Turkish president is accompanied by Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, Energy Minister Berat Albayrak plus Family and Social Policies Minister Fatma Betul Sayan Kaya.
