Turkey hits Daesh, PKK positions in Syria, Iraq
Military reports cross-border artillery fire, airstrikes on terrorist targets in north of the two war-ridden neighbors
The Turkish military said on Thursday it had shelled Daesh positions in Syria, killing five terrorists.
According to a statement issued by the Turkish General Staff, Turkish forces hit two Daesh targets in the Esh-Sheikh and Yahmoul regions of northern Syria on Wednesday.
Turkish warplanes also carried out airstrikes against the terrorist organization PKK in the Metina region in Iraq's north.
