Ziraat Turkish Cup quarter, semi-final draws made
Fenerbahce to take on lower division club Kirklarelispor, Galatasaray to face Aytemiz Alanyaspor
ANKARA
The draws for Ziraat Turkish Cup quarter and semi-finals were held at the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Riva Facility in Istanbul on Friday.
Reigning champions of the Turkish Cup, Galatasaray will play against Aytemiz Alanyaspor as Fenerbahce will face third-tier club Kirklarelispor to qualify for the quarter-final.
In other quarter-final matches, Turkish Super Lig leaders Demir Grup Sivasspor were paired with Antalyaspor while Trabzonspor will take on Buyuksehir Belediye Erzurumspor.
First legs are set for Feb.4, 5, 6 while the second legs are scheduled for Feb. 11,12 and 13.
Semi-final draws unveiled
The winner of Trabzonspor - Buyuksehir Belediye Erzurumspor will face the winner of GMG Kirklarelispor - Fenerbahce as the winner of Antalyaspor - Demir Grup Sivasspor will take on the winner of Aytemiz Alanyaspor - Galatasaray.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray is the most successful club in the Turkish Cup history, winning 18 titles in this tournament.
The Yellow-Reds defeated Akhisarspor 3-1 in the last season's final of Ziraat Turkish Cup at Yeni Sivas 4 Eylul Stadium.
