KAYSERI (AA) - FIFA U20 World Cup Games started on Friday with the matches between Cuba and South Korea in the central city of Kayseri and, between France and Ghana in Istanbul.
FIFA U20 World Cup Games kicked off with an opening ceremony.
The opening match of the tournament between Cuba and South Korea was played at the Kadir Has Stadium with Turkey's Cuneyt Cakir in charge of the game.
South Korea defeated Cuba 2-1 at the opening match.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President of FIFA Joseph Blatter attended the opening ceremony and watched the opening match.
At the first match in Group A, France defeated Ghana 3-1 in Istanbul.
