LONDON (AA) - August 6, 2012 - The Turkish national women's basketball team are qualified for quarter finals in the 2012 Olympic Games in London after defeating Croatia 70-65 on Sunday.
With the victory over Croatia, the Turkish national women's basketball team are ranked second in their group behind USA and are entitled to play against Russia in quarter final.
Meanwhile, the Turkish national women's volleyball team are eliminated in the Olympic Games after finishing Group B fifth.
The women's volleyball team played their last match against the United States on Sunday and lost it 0-3.
