LONDON
Turkish athlete Nazmiye Muslu on Thursday lifted 109 kilograms in women's 40kg weightlifting to break Paralympic record and improve her world title by 2.5 kg in the London Paralympic Games.
Muslu's earlier world record was in February in Dubai.
Also in Thursday's events, Turkey's Korhan Yamac won silver medal in men's 10 meter air pistol with 664.7 points.
South Korea's Seakyun Park claimed the gold and the country's Juhee Lee won bronze medal.
