ANKARA (AA) - July 30, 2012 - Turkey's U16 National Basketball Team became European champions after defeating France 66-61 at European Championship final in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius on Sunday.
Turkey's U16 National Basketball Team beat France in the title game on Sunday.
The Turkish team have already two times won the gold medal in 1977 and 2005.
In 2005, Turkey had defeated France on the same occasion.
The champions will return to Turkey on Monday.
