Super Lig leaders Galatasaray tripped by Besiktas 3-1

ANKARA

Besiktas beat Turkish Super Lig leaders Galatasaray 3-1 in the week 32 game on Sunday.

Argentine star Mauro Icardi scored the first goal for Galatasaray in the 20th minute at the Vodafone Park.

But Romain Saiss leveled the score in the 35th minute and the first half ended 1-1.

Amir Hadziahmetovic gave the lead to the hosts in the 58th minute and Vincent Aboubakar made it 3-1 in the 93rd minute.

With this result, the point gap between the runners-up Fenerbahce and the Lions reduced to three, as Galatasaray top the standings with 70 points while Fenerbahce are placed second with 67.

Besiktas are ranked third with 65 points.
