Trabzonspor sign 3-year-contract with 29-year-old British striker

ISTANBUL
Turkish top-tier football club Trabzonspor on Wednesday signed British striker Daniel Sturridge with a three-year-contract.
The 29-year-old joined Trabzonspor with 2+1-year contract, the Turkish club announced in a statement on Wednesday.
Trabzonspor will pay €3.5 million ($3.9 million) to the British footballer for each season.
Sturridge scored 4 goals in 27 matches last season for Liverpool.
Previously, he has played for Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Bolton and West Brom.
