Roma draw 2-2 with Inter in Serie A top-of-the-table clash

Roma and Inter drew 2-2 Saturday in the fifth week of Italy's Serie A as the league's top two clubs shared the points at Stadio Olimpico.

Roma made a fast start and took the lead in the sixth minute with French midfielder Manu Kone.

Kone doubled the advantage of the hosts'in the 37th minute with his second goal of the match, sending Roma into halftime 2-0 ahead.

Inter responded immediately after the break, with captain Lautaro Martinez pulling one back in the 46th minute.

The Argentine striker completed his brace in the 79th minute, leveling the score and earning Inter a point.

Neither side could find a winning goal in the closing stages of the match.​​​​​​​

Both teams remain at the top of the Serie A standings with 13 points after five matches.
