President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Issa Hayatou arrived in Cairo late Friday to attend the draw for the 2014 FIFA World Cup playoff.
Scheduled to be held at CAF's headquarters in the 6th October City, on the western outskirts of the Egyptian capital, the draw will be held on Monday.
Hayatou came to Cairo from the French capital, Paris, in the company of five other CAF officials, a security source at Cairo airport told the Anadolu Agency.
Ten African teams have qualified for the playoff. The ten teams were divided into two categories. Winners will qualify for the 2014 World Cup, which will be held in Brazil.
