A bomb scare at a hotel in an upscale block of the French capital Paris has forced the evacuation of Germany’s national football team, the hotel’s spokeswoman confirmed Friday.
A spokeswoman of Hotel Molitor Paris, located in western parts of the city, said that the bomb threat came through an anonymous caller early Friday morning.
"As a security measure, the management evacuated staff and guests, including the German national football team, and police are still verifying and checking the hotel," the spokeswoman told Anadolu Agency.
Germany are playing against France in a friendly game as part of the build up to the UEFA Euro2016 finals in France.
