ANKARA
McLaren Honda driver Fernando Alonso has been hospitalized after a crash on the last day of pre-season test-drives Sunday in Spain.
The Formula One website stated that McLaren Honda's Spanish driver Alonso hit the guardrails between turns 3 and 4 in the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.
After receiving treatment at the medical center, Alonso was taken to hospital by an air ambulance.
McLaren Honda team typed on their Twitter account that Fernando Alonso was conscious and that his health status was fine.
