ANKARA

The 12th race of the Grand Prix in the 2019 Formula 1 World Championship will be held in Hungary over the weekend.

The qualifying round will take place in the Hungary capital Budapest on Saturday, and the race will begin Sunday at 1910GMT.

The 70-lap race will be held at the Hungaroring circuit, a motorsport track 4,381 kilometers (2,722 miles) long.

Mercedes lead in both the Driver and Constructor Standings after winning nine out of 11 races.

Five-time Formula 1 champion and Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has won seven races this season, while his teammate Finnish Valtteri Bottas has won two. 

Separately, Red Bull-Honda’s Max Verstappen won two races in 2019.
