ANKARA

Lewis Hamilton won Sunday's F1 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix while Mercedes clinched their seventh constructors’ title in a row.

Having sealed ninth victory of the season, the Mercedes driver finished the 63-lap race at 1:28:32, which was held at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, a race track near the Italian town of Imola.

His teammate Valtteri Bottas came second -- 5.7 seconds behind him -- while Renault's Daniel Ricciardo finished in third with 14.3 seconds behind Hamilton.

With four races left in the season, Mercedes became the first constructor (people or corporate entities which design key parts of cars that have competed or are intended to compete in championships) to win seventh title in a row in Formula 1 history.

This year's 14th race will take place in Istanbul, Turkey on Nov.15.
