Football: Wolfsburg win German Super Cup

BERLIN

 Wolfsburg were crowned German Super Cup winners on Saturday after beating Bayern Munich 5-4 on penalties.

The game ended 1-1 at full-time after Bayern's Arjen Robben and Wolfsburg striker Nicklas Bendtner found the net for their teams.

Only Bayern's Spanish midfielder Xabi Alonso could not convert his penalty, giving Wolfsburg the trophy for the first time in their history.
