Football: Atletico Madrid beat Galatasaray 0-2

ANKARA

Turkish football club Galatasaray lost 0-2 against Spain's Atletico Madrid at the UEFA Champions League group stage game in Istanbul on Tuesday.

Both first-half goals were scored by Antoine Griezmann in the 18th and 25th minutes, respectively, earning Atletico Madrid three points.

In the other Group C game played Tuesday, Benfica of Portugal beat Kazakhstan's FC Astana 2-0.

Galatasaray will next play against FC Astana in Kazakhstan on Sept. 30.
