A Turkish Airlines EuroLeague round 17 basketball match between Zalgiris Kaunas and AX Armani Exchange Milan set for this Wednesday has been suspended due to COVID-19.

Milan requested the suspension due to legislation imposing quarantine measures after several team members tested positive for coronavirus, EuroLeague announced on Tuesday.

The virus left the Italian club without the minimum eight players fit to play.

EuroLeague Basketball said they would work with both teams to find a new date and announce it when confirmed.

According to EuroLeague COVID-19 rules, each game can be rescheduled up to three times, if there are available dates.
