England on Thursday advanced to final of ICC Cricket World Cup after they beat Australia by 8 wickets in their semifinal match at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in England.

Batting first, Australian team was bundled out for 223 with one over remaining. England put up a commanding start, with 124-run partnership of the opening pair of Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow.

England chased the target in 33 overs with 8 wickets in hand.

England will face New Zealand in the final at Lord’s stadium on July 14.

It is the fourth time when England have reached the World Cup final. Last time, in 1992, they lost to Pakistan and before that English team reached finals in 1979 and 1987.
