Mitchell to sign 5-year, $195-million designated rookie max extension with Utah Jazz

Free agent Donovan Mitchell has agreed to a five-year designated rookie max extension with the Utah Jazz, according to ESPN.
“The deal is guaranteed for $163M and could increase to the $195M by meeting the All-NBA criteria for the 2020-2021 season,“ Adrian Wojnarowski, senior NBA insider, said on Twitter Sunday.
Another free agent Rajon Rondo will sign a two-year $15M contract with the Atlanta Hawks after announcing his departure from the Los Angeles Lakers.
In addition, Serge Ibaka agreed to a two-year, $19M deal with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers will re-sign with the veteran forward Carmelo Anthony for one year, Shams Charania of The Athletic said on Twitter.
