Belgium claimed third place in the 2018 FIFA World Cup with a 2-0 win over England on Saturday.

Paris Saint-Germain right back Thomas Meunier scored an early opener for Belgium against England in St. Petersburg. Meunier's close range finish made Belgians take the lead in the fourth minute.

Belgium led the first half.

In the 70th minute, England were very close to finding the equalizer. English midfielder Eric Dier lobbed the ball over Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois but Belgium's defender Toby Alderweireld cleared the ball from the goal line.
