Robert Lewandowski scores twice at Camp Nou
Bayern Munich claimed a 3-0 away victory Tuesday against Barcelona in their first Group E match of the UEFA Champions League.
Playing at the Camp Nou, Bayern scored the opener with a long-range goal from Thomas Muller in the 34th minute.
In the 56th minute, Polish star Robert Lewandowski doubled the score for the German side.
Lewandowski netted his second goal in the 85th minute as the match ended 3-0.
In another Group E match, Dynamo Kyiv was held to a goalless draw with Benfica at NSC Olimpiyskiy.
10-man Manchester United lose to Young Boys
Manchester United meanwhile lost 2-1 to Young Boys at the Stadion Wankdorf in Berne.
Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo broke the deadlock in the 13th minute.
But the Swiss team leveled the match with Cameroonian midfielder Moumi Ngamaleu in the 66th minute.
Theoson Siebatcheu's stoppage-time goal brought victory to Young Boys in Group F.
The Red Devils were down to 10 men as defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka was shown a straight red card in the 35th minute.
With this game, Ronaldo has equaled Iker Casillas' record for the most appearances in Champions League history at 177.
Meanwhile, a shot from Ronaldo hit a steward and knocked him to the ground during the pre-match warm-up.
The Portuguese superstar gave away his matchday shirt to the steward that was mistakenly hit by the ball.
