Basketball: Marco Belinelli returns to Virtus Bologna
2014 NBA champion to play for Italian side until June 30, 2023

Italian guard Marco Belinelli has returned to Lega Basket Serie A's Virtus Bologna after 13 years, the club announced on Thursday.
"The Virtus Segafredo Bologna project is a project that immediately interested me. A stimulating project, in which I am sure I will be able to contribute in an important way," Belinelli said on the club's website.
The Italian club has reached an agreement with the guard until June 30, 2023.
The 2014 NBA champion with the San Antonio Spurs also played for some NBA teams, including Toronto Raptors, New Orleans Hornets, Chicago Bulls, Sacramento Kings, Charlotte Hornets, Atlanta Hawks, and Philadelphia 76ers.
Last season Belinelli averaged 6.3 points, 1.2 assists, and 1.7 rebounds with the Spurs in 57 games.
The 34-year-old made appearances for Virtus Bologna during the 2002-03 season.
