LONDON
Arsenal will be without midfielders Mikel Arteta and Aaron Ramsey for Wednesday’s Champions League game against Galatasaray after they were injured in the North London derby.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirmed the pair would miss the European game after picking up injuries against Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday’s 1-1 home fixture.
"It is impossible,” Wenger said. “If there are muscle problems, I am not sure whether they would recover in five to six days or not."
Right-back Mathieu Debuchy, striker Olivier Giroud and winger Theo Walcott also have injuries worries while left-back Nacho Monreal has back trouble.
