ANKARA

The Anadolu Agency is developing a new mobile application that will feature news in English.

Last week, the organization had launched a similar app in Turkish language.

The new app in English aims to reach a global audience.

The effort to introduce an English version of the mobile app comes after the agency received many requests from its global users abroad.

The Turkish mobile app has already grabbed alot attention inside and outside of Turkey. The easy to use app allows faster and easier access to news.  

The Turkish app was developed by Turkey’s Directorate of National Education’s Research and Development Unit. It can be downloaded for free from Google Play and the Apple Store.

News, photographs and videos from the news agency’s website, www.aa.com.tr, can also be found on the improved app, which was launched as part of The Anadolu Agency’s Centennial Vision.

There are six main categories in the app, including Headlines, Turkey, World, Business, Sports and Other. Users can also receive notifications on what news categories they would like to choose.
