Ukraine claimed on Thursday that it downed 112 Russian drones that were fired overnight.

A statement by the air force said its air defenses intercepted 112 out of 128 drones launched by Russia, noting that the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv regions were affected.

The statement said an attack using an Iskander-M ballistic missile was also conducted, but provided no further information on the missile’s whereabouts.

Earlier in the morning, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed it destroyed two Patriot missile launchers, a radar station and a “combat control cabin” in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region using an Iskander-M missile.

Dnipropetrovsk Governor Serhiy Lysak said on Telegram that overnight drone attacks damaged an industrial enterprise, a farm building and a power line in the city of Pavlohrad.

He added that four private houses and a power line were also damaged in the region’s Nikopol district.
