MOSCOW
Russia on Saturday claimed that its forces captured two more settlements in Ukraine’s eastern regions.
According to a Defense Ministry statement, the Sever (North) group of forces took control of the settlement Vysoke in the Sumy region, while the Tsentr (Center) group of forces captured Svitle in the Donetsk region.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's Security Service claimed two Russian Su-27 fighter jets and several vessels in the Caspian Sea were hit in the overnight drone attack.
Independent verification of claims of both sides is challenging due to the ongoing conflict.
