Over 60 injured after Russian forces carried attack on restaurant in city of Kramatorsk in eastern Ukraine

The death toll from the Kramatorsk attack in eastern Ukraine rose to 12 after Russia carried out a missile strike on a restaurant on Tuesday, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry said on Thursday.  

The ministry confirmed that search and rescue operations have concluded, with the recovery of four bodies from the restaurant debris over the course of the two-day operation.

"The death toll has now reached 12. All victims have been identified," the ministry stated, while also noting that the number of injured individuals in the attack has risen to 65.

In response to the tragic incident, the Kramatorsk City Council declared a period of mourning from June 30 to July 1-2 in honor of the attack victims.
