Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) Ban Ki-moon condemned the attack on Aleppo University in Syria.
In a statement released, Ban's spokesperson indicated that Ban was deeply saddened by the attack on Aleppo University and he offered condolences to the families of those killed in the attack.
"Targeting civilians is a crime of war. Such ugly attacks can not be accepted. Such attacks must end immediately. All sides fighting in Syria must act in accordance with international, humanitarian laws," Ban also said.
