Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and leader of Tunisia's largest party Ennahda Rachid al-Ghannouchi have described Tunisia as a "successful model" of Arab Spring countries.
"The Tunisian and Turkish parties have affirmed that Tunisia represents a successful model of some Arab Spring countries," Ennahda party said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the statement, al-Ghannouchi held talks with the top Turkish diplomat on deeply-rooted relations between Tunisia and Turkey.
Davutoglu had arrived in Tunisia early Tuesday for talks on regional developments and bilateral cooperation.
