Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan met United State's Former Vice President and Chairman of Climate Reality Project Al Gore for "climate change" on Sunday.
Speaking at the closed meeting in the scope of Climate Reality Project in which 600 people from 97 countires attended, Babacan said "Climate change,a global problem, must be solved with global solutions."
Reminding that the climate change was a problem that was caused by "selfish generations", Babacan said "The climate change should be high on the global agenda. Countries and companies should not be insensitive to the environment."
Babacan also said that Turkey attached great importance to energy efficiency, and added "One of the important parts of our system in Turkey is that there is no subvention in energy. We tax the energy."
