BRUSSELS

The Turkish defense minister on Friday met with his Bulgarian counterpart in Brussels to discuss regional and security issues.

Hulusi Akar and Georgi Panayotov agreed to continue bilateral contacts.

Akar also attended the second day’s session of the NATO defense ministers’ meeting in Brussels.

On Thursday, he met with his US, British, Greek, and Spanish counterparts in Brussels.

The defense ministers are currently in Brussels to attend the two-day NATO defense ministers’ meeting.
