Turkey’s ruling party candidate elected Ordu mayor

ANKARA

Ruling Justice and Development Party candidate has been elected mayor of Turkey’s Black Sea province of Ordu, according to unofficial results on Sunda

Mehmet Hilmi Guler bagged 219,526 votes, while opposition Felicity Party received 100,309 votes.

Earlier, millions of Turkish voters cast their votes in the local elections to choose Turkey’s mayors, city council members, mukhtars (neighborhood officials), and members of elder councils for the next five years.
