CAIRO (AA) - National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces called on Iran's new-elected President Hassan Rowhani to realize the mistakes of his predecessor, Ahmadinejad.
"Iran has continued to support Assad's regime in military, economic and political areas for two years after the revolution in Syria. We call on President Rowhani to realize the mistakes of his predecessor, Ahmadinejad," said a written statement issued by the Coalition.
Rowhani, an experienced diplomat, speaking 5 languages with a European education, is commented to be a unifying actor sympathetic to different segments in and outside Iran.
